Maintenance UPS

On-site UPS maintenance service in Ho Chi Minh City includes:

• Clean the entire mainboard system, batteries, and all old ups
• Measure and check component of components, capacity of capacitors, resistors, ICs, recommend replacement if capacity is significantly reduced
• Measure battery capacity, test discharge mode to evaluate how much battery capacity is left, whether it is enough to meet the operation of the load system for a long time or not
• Check CB, power cables connecting to UPS and from UPS to load to ensure electrical safety

Prepare handover records and recommend replacement of damaged components.

Steps for UPS maintenance

Step 1: Observe the overview of the UPS to see if there are any abnormalities, whether the power cord, CB, power outlet is loose or feel the wire to see if it is hot (remember to wear insulating gloves)

Step 2: Check the Panel or LCD display– Voltage, input and output frequency, load parameters, battery parameters,…– Error warnings via LCD screen and LED displays.

Step 3: Switch the UPS to run directly (Bypass mode) or turn off the UPS

Step 4: Clean the UPS, sweep dust, check for rusted components, broken circuits…

Step 5: Measure the UPS battery with specialized tools

Step 6: Check the UPS board and measure parameters

Step 7: Carefully look at the connection jacks and crimping terminals

Step 8: Review the location of the UPS to ensure it is well ventilated, free of dust, and is there any other equipment that prevents heat loss?
